JOB DESCRIPTION
Real estate foreclosures in Southern California are at an all time high, which is leading to increased demand for qualified residential inspectors. A Home Inspector works with real estate agents,or banks and their clients to evaluate the condition of residential property and homes, usually for real estate transactions, then generates a detailed report for all parties. Typically inspectors examine everything that is visible and accessible, such as foundation, retaining walls, roof and fences, as well as testing appliances, heating, septic systems and pool equipment. Depending on the area and value of the home, an average inspection fee runs from $300 to $500. Most inspectors set their own hours and have the flexibility to work either full time or part time, depending on their situation.

Our course will provide you with the training and knowledge you need to begin a successful career as Home Inspector, or even strengthen your existing business. This course is taught by certified working inspector who will cover in detail interior & exterior inspections, mechanical inspection, special tricks of the trade, things to watch out for, legal liabilities, and marketing your business.

Upon completion the student will receive a certificate of completion and will be ready for the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) certification examination.
